Still looks like an MDX if the spy shot is true. Just a little more contoured, but about the same size.

I think the spy pic may really be a lightly disguised 07 MDX. It looks more like a Honda than the Infiniti-looking concept sketch.

The tail end of the MDX in the spy pix looks heavy or loaded. Do they have a 26" widescreen plus a bunch of subwoofers in there to satisfy half the MDX enthusiasts here or what??

I think it looks more like the RDX. The area between the C-pillar and rear windows is different (perhaps disguised), but there are a lot of similarities.

The tail lights appear to be exactly the same. And the shape of the rear door above the rear wheel arch looks the same.

well I did see a peek photo in the Journal de Montreal, a Montreal daily news paper in the car section - April 2nd edition.

It is more bulky than the RDX and is similar to the Infiniti. If they are going to smooth the edges, it will become a Nissan more than a Honda. The 90 degree corners are typical to the historical design of Acuras and it would be a mistake in my opinion to change this acura landmark in design. What do I know, its my 2nd MDX and I will probably pick up a new one in 18 months (end of lease).

It is said in the artical that it will be showcased in North America at the upcoming Vancouver B.C., Canada car show.

Its so different that I will not feel bad with the older 2005 model. It happened to me before with my 1986 Toyota Supra Targa 2 tone turbo (piece of crap short block).

I just felt my 10 cents was justified.

Please dont change that nice MDX tailgate too much.

If you notice, the most recent post of the spied silver Acura SUV resembles the RDX prototype by looking at the back door/window, yet the spied black Acura SUV is different.

The spied black Acura SUV has a different back window and door (in comparison to the RDX prototype and spied silver Acura SUV), which leads me to believe the black Acura SUV with the larger back window is the new MDX, 3rd row and all...

(although maybe it's a disguised back window, which could be hard to tell on this black vehicle and poor camera quality.)

Haha, did I make any sense at all? If anything, they seem to be sporting the same wheels and tail light design, keeping it in the family.

I HOPE that is not what the 2007 is going to look like.

I guess we shall see soon enough (fingers crossed).

Snapped those in the neighborhood.... Most interesting are the mirrors, very similar to the MDX concept. Could this be the new MDX?

Last one... I have more and could possibly get more.
I just don't know what I'm looking at to be really honest. I not real familiar with the SUV side of Acura :)

The first few pictures looks a lot like RDX to me than MDX.

new photos for the concept is on acura site. Only they might shorten up the bumpers and get rid of the in bumper exaust. By the way those are pic of the new RDX coming out in the fall this year
