I gotta admit. It did not look good for the Sox when they were down 3-1 last week and all but the big 3 were cold as ice. Now the question is if the Rockies cooled off during this off week.

Sox should win in 5. They have no business losing to the Rockies.

That looks good on you. How about a Pats logo next?

"OUTCLASSED"????

Outplayed maybe, but hardly outclassed.

To bad the Sox will wrap it up in Colorado. Would be nice to see the celebration in Fenway.

The sad thing is, we will never know if the lay off is to blame for their poor showings.

The sox are good, but I don't think any team is so good that a team that won all but 1 of their last 25(+or-, I don't know the exact number) would just roll over the way they have.

Settle down homer, wait until they win it before you say they are outclassed.

BTW
<---- I hate that logo!

Congrats to the Bosox! They earned it with an incredible comeback.

I just wish the Yanks would have played them in the ACLS.

As a lifelong Yankees fan, I'm glad he opted out. $30M (A-Rod) and Jeter ($20M) on the left side is just too much. I would rather the Yanks go after pitching. Also, it makes it easier to resign Mariano (a must). I'd prefer they not resign Posada but it almost seems like a done deal.

And it is not as if the Yanks made it to the Series with him. A-Rod is all about himself and does not make others around better. Generally, the Yanks wait around for him to hit a home run.

I hope A-Rod ends up in LA because at least I know they won't make it to the Series also.

Now I'll say it: They were outclassed. My reason is simple. Sox pretty much had the best record, consistently, from beginning to the end of the season. Rockies did not. They just got hot at the right time. Sox will be great for at least a few years with their young talent unless they make meat headed trades. I expect them to win at least 2-3 more championships over the next 5 or so years before their run is over.

I think that is a homer view, sure it is easy to say when they just won the World Series, which they deserve, congrats there.

They have a good mix of young talent and aging players, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the off seasons and with free agency, other teams can get better quickly.

Sadly, the most interesting thing that happened yesterday was A-rod becoming a free agent.
