Tired of using DVD Shrink and Decrypter combo since it has too many failed backups.

I just want something reliable.

I use DVD Decrypter to copy onto double layer DVDs (no additional compression) and haven't had a bad burn yet.

Any special DVD's that you use. I get alot of bad sector or encryption problems.

What burning engine are you using to burn your dvds? Try to get Nero and use their engine to burn the dvds. I have yet to get a flawed DVD using DVD Shrink and Nero.

I use double layer Memorex +R DVD's and they have been very consistent. DVD Decrypter burns directly with no compression to DL DVDs. Even though the burn is buffered, I limit what I do in the background to ensure a good burn.

I also use Nero and DVD Shrink... never had a single problem in over 3 years.

Use "One Click DVD 4.2"

It's as simple as it sounds...I just bought it.
