Can someone recommend a simple way to get an iPod nano to pay over the speakers of a 2001 MDX? I know about the cassette thingy that connects as a headset to the iPod.

Is there something better and just as simple? Thanks.

Does the ipod nano have RCA audio outputs so you can use a Blitzsafe adapter?

I know this is a bit late but here is something I just purchased.

I became frustrated at the solutions available (especially for my 06 Pilot, there still were a lot of questions in my mind) so I purchased the Kensignton FM Transmitter after reading favorable reviews.

Here is the link to the product: Kensington link

I know - FMs are junk but this one seems to work pretty well (I didn't want to go cassete b/c of the wires). The Kensington one charges the Ipod and so far I am getting no static. Best of all for me, I can switch it between my MDX and my Pilot and there is absolutely zero installation cost or time. I had it working in 30 seconds. I can keep it hidden in the center console or put it under the radio. I control volume via steering controls but you must change tracks via the ipod clickwheel. For me, it's better sound than the radio.

It's probably not for everyone and certainly not ideal if you spend a ton of time in the car but for me it was relatively cheap, very easy and portable. I may end up with a hardwire solution in the future but I just could not pull the trigger right now. I will try to comment further after I take a few long trips (ordinarily a weakness of the FM ones as you need to switch stations).
