Thank you for your kind words. I really do appreciate it! Losing a pet is a hard thing, but I guess its something we have to accept if we're going to have them.
Thank you again! You're very kind. |

| BigDog |
Hi everyone, the Big Dogs haven't been on in a couple of months and I'm sad to say that we have lost the Big Dog herself, our German Shepherd Cassidy. Some of you met her at the Bay Area meet a few years ago. She had a spinal disease that we fought for almost 2 years, and we finally put her to sleep in October when the nerve damage got so bad she could hardly walk. She was just over 4 years old, so it was a really hard thing to do. We will always miss her.
We got a new pup a month later, a longcoat shepherd of German lines. Her name is Dena, and here she is in the X:

Hanging out at the park:

She's a great pup, and is keeping us very busy.

| Thanks Fabsix, not sure why the pictures aren't showing up - I've always used the same link to my photobucket account, and it works for every other website I've tried, but for some reason I'm just getting the links. I hate it when that happens! |

This is my pet that has been with me through thick and thin. And when its seems that things are going to fall apart, he keeps it all together again :)
And best of all it never complaints and always has an ear for whatever I have to say. Can't beat that! :2: |

BigDog,
Truly sorry for your loss but happy at your new pup. We lost our big dog (125lb Great Pyr) over two years ago but had our other puppy at the time. She filled a big gap at the time as I am sure your new puppy does for you. You had 4 years good time with yours and we had 7 with ours. They are around for too short a time so you have to resign yourself to enjoying them while they are around. But as you have found, you can never really replaced a lost dog but you find a new one that is just as wonderful but in different ways. Enjoy your new pup and consider a buddy for him too!:D |

| Hatchling snapping turtle we found at a local lake Memorial Day weekend '04. My daughter hasn't given him a name. We feed him frozen bloodworms through the winter. He's slowed considerably during hibernation season. He should perk up soon. |

crmsnidol,
better keep your eye on Snuggles, he didn't get to be 19lbs eating Purina. |

No like his owner, the lbs add on over the years until one day you look and wonder who the fat person in the mirror is looking back at you. :(
He's a male indoor cat. He's always been a big tom but the extra paunch is due to daily overall malaise. He's been on a strict low-ash diet since he was 2 and underwent an operation to remove a ureter blockage. He's never had table scraps, milk or any people food for that matter. Besides an occasional hairball he's been very healthy for the last 10 years and he now tolerates my daughter being in the same room with him.
I also think he's afraid of the hamster. When rapunzel is rolling around the family room in the exercise ball Snuggles runs if he gets near. The turtle is the tough pet right now. |

Chef,
Jack doesn't look too happy about the snow. My Westie once deposited on the front door welcome mat as an alternative to going in the snow. Nowadays, Baxter is enjoying retirement by spending afternoons by the pool. Great dogs. |

| You don't think he is cute?:( |
|

| I did not say that Jack was not cute. Jack is as cute a bug. However, it is clear from Jack's facial expression that he does not appreciate being forced out into the snow just to go pee. I think that Jack would rather be sitting in your chair. Am I wrong? |

You are right, as much as he loves his walks he enjoys sitting on peoples laps. His favorite activities include: Being in rooms with people, walks, playing with other dogs and swimming.
By the way that is a very cute dog....i love westies |

| Brody and Elliott are 3.5 and 4.0 years old. They each sit on a padded wood box on the back seat and are in a harness that is connected to the seat belt. I had to make special inside door protector for my 07 MDX that velcros onto the inside door panel. Brody chewed the top of the panel near the window on my 04 MDX(BAD DOG). They travel well and have been to the North Carolina Mountains several times on vacation. |
