Can anyone, especially someone from NY(I was born there, but only lived there for 3 months) help me out here. My friends and I are going to take the Fung-Wa bus out some time this week and I need to know how I get from that bus station, (which I assume is in china town) to the actual show. Specifics would be nice.
Thanks,
Mike |

Take a cab! :2:
Seriously, where exactly will you be getting off? The Javits Center is pretty big and is on 11th Ave starting at 34th Street. It's been a while but the closest subway station would be 34 th Street on the A,C and E (blue line), then walk a couple of blocks west. If you're in Chinatown, there should be a station near Canal Street.
Here's the official website: Javits Center
And here's a subway map: NYC subway |

Depending on where the bus drops you off, you're better off taking another train line, then transferring. The ACE trains are on Canal street but it's all the way down near the Holland Tunnel.
If you get off on East Broadway (that's where I usually see the buses), right underneath the bridge, head north to Grand street to take the BD trains uptown to West 4th Street, walk up the stairs and tranfer to the ACE.
Also, if your group is 3-4 people, you may actually be better off taking the cab. 1 way trips on the subway at $2. The cab ride from Chinatown is around $8-10 and is much more convenient. |

We may just take a cab, seems much more simple.
