I can't say the Q7 makes me want to trade the MDX, but, after seeign that the R350 starts at 48, and after sittign in one at the Dallas Auto Show last week, I'd love to have one of those, especially if it's sporting the dual chromed tips and 20" AMG wheels, machined or chrome.

All that vehicle needs is tint.

Boy, seems like everyone is going after that FX45 look...including what you see of the new X...IMO, but the R500 looks like a 4-door van from the pictures above.

If you're an auto racing buff, it's hard to look at the new grilles of the Audis and not be reminded of the pride of the Third Reich, the pre-war Auto Union Grand Prix cars. In fact, those old Grand Prix cars are the inspiration for the styling of the new Audis' grilles.

At least it's not as bad as Subaru styling their new front-ends to look like airplanes. That's a f'ing slap in the face to Americans - Subaru built Japanese Nakajima fighters that flew against Allied forces in WWII, and now they celebrate their heritage by making their grille openings look like a airplane? Pretty tasteless if you ask me. That's like Mitsubishi making a car whose engine sounds like a Zero in a dive.

Sorry for the rant - must've had too many cups of coffee this morning.

I saw the Q7 at The New York International Auto Show. (IMO) it looks okay..I didn't get a chance to sit in it because there were sworms of people around it but it looked like the interior would be cramped but I don't know. Also, i wouldnt feel comfortable buying a first year model, especially from Audi.
