I recently traded in my 2002 MDX Touring with 59000 miles for a Nighthawk Black Pearl 2006 Touring with Nav. Man, what a difference in ride quality, performance, features, and overall peace of mind. Not only that, my payments went down by $65 per month (ignoring that my old loan had 29 months to go and now I'm starting over :))

My '02 had 59,000 miles and I was getting concerned about potential transmission problems, plus the dealer could never resolve the brake clunk problem. Hopefully those issues are behind me now. I'm slowly moving up the learning curve on all the nav. system features, plus all the other items that can be displayed and utilized on the screen.

Count me in...decided to step up from my 9 year old Explorer into '06 MDX. Picked up my new ride this morning and feeling kind of good about it :D

It was looking good when we came to get it, steel blue color glowing in the sun...and a little while later, as we headed home... the rains came:3:

Well I guess I'll take the day off tomorrow and give it a nice bath before I start showing it off to the neighbors. Just not right to get rained on the first day. But I plan on enjoying this baby for a long time to come!

I know, I took delivery of my 1997 Maxima in the rain...

They told me to bring it back and they're rewash it, and prep it for a "proper" delivery.

Hey I was just glad I did not run into hail...as was predicted in some places around me. Now that would NOT have been right! My drive was to Cincinnati so I'll rewash it myself...something about a new car, washing it just does not seem that hard.

...and then to top it off I got my silver Longhorn logo waiting for it's proper place on the new X.:D

Hey everyone wants one now, plenty of room on the wagon hop aboard. I've had a nice silver one just waiting for the right car.Hell we'll even take in some of those Buck fans when they decide to go with a real team:2:

BLACK BLING that was a heck of a game last year (even more so since the right team came out on top) and looking forward to welcoming ya'll to Austin. You'll find us much more hospitable then some of that Columbus crowd;)

Has nothing to do with the Nat'l championship win...

I've been a fan since 1992; I'd love to go to school there, but unfortunately, I live in Dallas. UTD & UTA just "ain't" the same... :)

I understand, I have no UT connections either, heck I'm a a Yankee from Buffalo, but I got to Austin in '97 and the orange just got in my blood and people I know now have a hard time believing I did not go to UT. But I'm hooked...orangeblood forever!

I know the feeling...

I got Burnt-Orange-Disease in 1992, and I was in Killeen, TX. (1992 - 1997)

Were you one of the Boyz in the Hood? I got to GTown in '97 and worked in Waco and spent plenty of time in Killeen and at the Hood from '97-'03. Place sure changed in that time and 10x more since you were there.

Yeah, I know, I go down periodically to check on my rental property down there... Big changes.

Yep, I was one of the "Boyz in the Hood". Ironic that you said it that way, I had a T-shirt that said that, "Boyz in the Hood" and had the III Corps patch on it..:D

I was in 3rd SIG BDE, 57th SIG BN for 2 years and some change, went to Korea for a year, then came right back to 3rd SIG BDE, and 16th SIG BN.
