It just started to turn warm in Maryland and already my front bumper is covered with dead bugs... like I have never seen before (at least on my previous cars). The larger front end of the MDX is a bug magnet! Any recommendations on getting the bug juice off my bumper and keeping it somewhat clean?:(

Once you get it clean have a 3m clear bra installed on the hood and front bumper cover. it will make cleaning bugs off a whole lot easier.

that's nasty ByeByeChrysler. Go to Target and pick up one of those cheap netted bath sponges. I use something similar to it on my cars [NBP MDX & Neptune Blue Lexus RX] and is totally safe on the paint. I always wax after doing this and triple up in the bug zones, front bumper & mirrors. Good Luck! :7:

the picture was from last summer, I cleaned it by using a power washer first, then, car wash soap on a rag along with some elbow grease.
I have a similar mess this week after getting back from Easter weekend in Conn.
I powerwashed it yesterday at a local coin-op car wash, and it came out pretty good, plan on washing it at home this weekend, if the weather cooperates. |

Put a few layers of a good sealant (Zaino, Klasse, Menzerna FMJ, or any of a dozen others) on the front of your MDX and the bugs won't stick at all - they'll float off with just the stream from a hose.
