Nice video. After seeing the Q7 in person last week, I think it will replace our MDX. It has a much better AWD system, air suspension for better ground clearance in snow & sand along with no sag-butt when loaded, a far nicer interior, more leg room in front, better paint quality, 350 HP V8 and better headlights. Sure it costs more, but when you see it, you can justify the additional cost. The MDX has served us well, but the Q7 addresses all the minor complaints we have had with our MDX.

Only problem that I can see with the new Q7 is that it's, well, NEW. Audis aren't known to be the most reliable vehicles on the planet but this one seems to have several neat features. Personally, I think I'll wait out the normal teething problems new cars seem to experience. Seems to be a nice car, though, and I like many of its features. My '03 MDX is still running strong with no problems to date so I've got the time.

I agree...buying any first year model can be scary. I made the mistake of trading my really reliable '01 allroad for an '04 TL. What a mess...rattles everywhere, wrinkled seats, miserable tires, paint peeling off the hood & rear bumper. After 30K miles in 12 months, I got rid of it and am back in an Audi A4 that has been flawless. My friend has an '05 TL...far less rattles, different seats, different tires, so there were some improvements by the second year out. The Q7 may not be too bad since it is based on the Touareg/Cayenne. If I take the first year gamble and it's a mess, I'll trade it before the 4-year/50K mile warranty is over.
