| Our 16 y/o son became the proud owner of a 1997 Acura TL 2.5 today. Silver/Saddle Premium w/93,000 miles. Spotless interior, very, very good exterior, 2 owner car. He is THE MOST RESPONSIBLE teenager we have ever known. Eagle Scout, Black Belt, 3.8 GPA, varsity football and track. We are very proud of him, and know he will baby this car for a long time. BTW, we're still lovin' our Odyssey! |

| I'll say that the inline 5 they tried out in the mid 90's was a smooth and strong motor. But oh man oh man, are they ever the bane of an Acura technician's existance. Mention the name "Vigor" to an Acura tech and watch him cringe at the thought of having to do major work on them. |

| Yep...That's what our family friend said (he's a former Acura tech who runs his own shop, now) who did the pre-purchase. He said he might forget he knows me if it requires any major work. Seriously though, he gave it the thumbs-up knowing full-well he'd be hearing from me if he missed something on the p/p. They sure did cram that motor in there... |

| Nah. The 3.2L is the one that gets stuffed in there. And there are certain jobs on that motor that aren't so nice either. It's just that nothing is nice and easy with the 2.5L. Otherwise it is a pretty solid car. |
