I live in Fairfax, VA. The car has been garaged kept since January when I purchased it. In addition to touring + Navigation system, the car has the wood shift knob, rubber trunk liner, and wood grain dash controls. Will the sell the car for $38,500.

I am selling the MDX for several reasons. First, I ordered the car in November before actually seeing it. Up to this point, I have always been a sedan owner (I had a 1997 2.5TL before the MDX).
Reasons:
1. The car is just too big for me. I am a consultant and work in downtown DC and parrallel parking spots were a challenge with the TL and are impossible with the MDX.
2. Garage width issue - I also have an older townhome and the garage door frame width barely accommodates the MDX so I have to collapse a side view mirror to get in.
3. Gas bill is killing me - I'm only averaging 13.7-14.8 mpg around town (which is all of my driving) and as a consultant, I'm driving quite a bit (8K miles in 6 months). I'm spending on average about $200 a month on gasoline (up from $80 with my TL). |

I wouldn't sell for those reasons.. I'd get another house to accomodate the MDX, change my job to be able to park in my CEO spot.. and send a letter to OPEC to boost production to lower gas prices..
