Hello. I have been lurking on the boards for months. Finally decided to make an account and post some pics of my MDX. Feedback is appreciated.

| Looks nice. I hope you kept the stock wheels to put snow tires on. |

Thanks all for the feedback. I knew you would love it. HAHA, kidding. :D
I did keep the stock tires for winter. That's a definite must here. One thing I have noticed is that my mileage has gone down some with the bigger wheel/tire combo. Before I was getting around 17.5 mpg but now average 14.5. YIKES. Oh well, at least the truck looks good. I guess that is the only downside.
The wheels are Helo Tease 825 (20 x 8.5) with a 35mm offset front and rear. Tires are Sumitomo 275/45/20 and they ride great. Plenty of traction and deep treads from what I can see. Perfect combo if you ask me. Ask for the price, it was around $2,300 after taxes.
Oh I did paint my mudguards to match the rest of the truck. I'll be doing the underbody pieces and roof attachments when I have more time. Glad everyone approves so far.

| Very nice job. I find that the rear spoiler adds a nice touch to the vehicle also!! VERY IMPRESSIVE!! |

I really wanted to go with 22's originally however the MDX bolt pattern is extremely hard to find, most are 6 lug. If anyone knows of any 22's wheels that might fit, let me know. I am still happy with the 20's.
Where has the best price on the rear spoiler? That was going to be my next add-on. Thanks again.
PS. I also have a 2003 Acura TL Type S which I think looks pretty nice. |

You won't be happy with 20's for long :trustme:
Check the MB Motoring line at Discount tire for 22's. They fit perfect. That's what me and kelli had on ours.
BTW, nice MDX :29: |

| how the ride compared to stock? |

gdot - I've seen pics of your ride and Kelli's. I love the wheels. What MB Model are they? I see a few I like. If I decided to sell my wheels and tires, would anyone be interested?
a&emdx - The ride quality isn't too bad minus the decrease in gas mileage. The steering wheel when there are bumps, etc on the road, it's more noticeable. Other than that, it's not horrible. Not as smooth compared to stock but otherwise good enough for me. :D |

| Do bigger wheels change the outside diameter (OD) of the wheel/tire combination? If so, would this explain the decrease in mileage on the computer (if it still thinks the car is running on regular size)? I'm assuming the computer things the car has rolled X distance based on the standard circumference of the wheel, yet it has gone X+Y, where Y = difference in circumference. Then again, maybe I'm thinking about this backwards. |

| I have no idea. Using the tire/wheel calculator online, the new setup is .7" bigger so not much. I guess it has to do with the extra weight? |
