Very simple procedure per the owners manual. Could possible be a problem if you have one of the doors with the rolling code.

| I got a billion codes rolling each and every time I press on my garage door opener. It was quick and easy. Afterwards, I had issue, why I have 3 buttons on my homelink, each buttons serving different purposes. Which made it more complicated, but in the end works like a charm. |

I'm assuming you bought your MDX used, and are not the original owner ? If so, you need to 'clear out' the memory of your Homelink. I can't remember exactly, but I think you have to hold down buttons #1 & 3 for like 5 seconds until the leds flash (check your owners manual to be sure). Once clear, follow the instruction in your owners manual - should work now. Good luck. |

you can go to homelink.com and make sure that your garage door is compatable first
I also believe there might be direction on there, if not and your compatible email me back and I will type out the directions. Its pretty basic I have all three buttons programe for each door on my 2004 MDX. Sorry I didn't do it sooner like when I got the car and not a year later when I got around to it!

| On my 03, you have to hold 1 and 3 for 20 seconds. I still haven't gotten mine programmed. |

I have a Chamberlain with rolling codes also.
I had an 03 Pilot and it programmed the same as my 05 X.
You have to teach the X the rolling code from the Chamberlin remote.
Then you can program the Garage opener to the X.
I tried for hours firmly believing that I shouldn't have to, but I did.
Once I did that it worked immediately.
It does give the procedure in the manual. |
