I'm always leery of the "I've been told" lead-in. Plus, it doesn't sound like that's a place Acura would introduce a new prod. vehicle.... |

It should be improved by the addition of $10,000+ to the MSRP, according to some. This will make it more "exotic", and a "luxury bargain." According to some car mags recently out the RDX, which looks a little smaller but nice none-the-less, will be in the $31-37K range so I guess they will feel they have to distance the MDX from the RDX somewhat on the bottom line. I'm sure there's a market for a $50K+ MDX but unless there are substantial changes, and I don't know what they could be, an '06 might be a great deal for someone looking for this type of SUV. Fully optioned out and $10K+ cheaper the '06 maybe just what those who have been waiting for are wanting. Of course there will be those who need the newest deal on wheels but there's a lot of competition in the $50K+ range. Time will tell.

| I very seriously doubt they are changing the pricing structure that much. They know there price point and know what consumers will pay!!! The interior is about the same except for redesign of gauges and center cluster. Added Zebra wood. Rear seating looks the same. |

I don't know about that. The new RL is heavily discounted from MSRP. You can argue that it is marketing but I think Acura needs to be very cautious about how they price this update. |

One great change I've head from the dealer is steps that come from under the vehicle when you unlock the doors.
He also said the MSRP may only be 2 or 3K more. |

I totally agree. I do not think that there will be very much of a price increase, if any. Acura would lose too many of its current customers and gain very few new customers. I would be very surprised if there was any increase over $1,000.

| I really do not care what Acura does since I am not going with a new MDX. Time to upgrade so I am leaning towards a Lexus. Not sure about a new SUV, may go sedan. |
