Does anyone know if you can use a motorcycle carrier with the dealer installed tow package? I have a 2002 and two off road hondas that I would rather put on a carrier that fits into the hitch than tow a trailer.

BTW.. great car/truck.... only disapointments is performance in the snow and gas mileage.
Sinecure
You MIGHT get away with one smaller dirt bike, but definitely not two. The tongue weight limit is pretty low.

I have a realy cool folding trailer that works great. Mine is made for one bike, but they make a two bike version. Its made by Kendon and it pretty well built. The new ones come with a built-in chock at the front so you can just roll the bike on and it stays put while you tie it down. Folded up it takes up about as much floor space as a bike in my garage.

If you do a search on motorcycle trailer, I think you'll find a picture I've posted of my MDX and trailer at the track.

If you live near me, you are welcome to borrow the trailer sometime. There are also some lengthy discussions about this subject on sites like SBR and BARF (Soutbayriders and bayarearidersforum).

I'd love to be able to use a trailer hitch mounted bike carrier, but alas, we're stuck with trailers. So far I only have one ticket for travelling too fast in the left lane.
