The flow of MDX's to the dealers seems to have slowed the past few weeks: the gang at Cerritos attributes it to a two-week factory vacation. Others have told me that they've stopped taking orders for 2001's at this point and are just cleaning out the backlog before they start making the 2002's next month.
Has anyone else noticed a sudden stall in the proceedings? Or am I just being given the traditional stall now that I'm supposedly #1 on the list for a emerald or silver mdx?

We should trade notes. I talked to Paul yesterday or Thursday and he said that they're getting more cars in August then in July - he said they usuaslly get 22, but next month, their allocation is 45. He didn't have mine coming in, but I think he said he had a VIN for a silver one coming in soon.
He couldn't tell me anything about mine except that it should be in soon and to call back on Tuesdays. I've also been #1 on the list since i put the deposit down.
I just hope it comes soon because I was planning a road trip to SF early August. I'm getting really frustrated with Acura and am thinking again about going to look at an X5 or Highlander.

I just talked to my salesman at Cerritos. They have 2 silver 184's coming in in the next 10 days.
I've been waiting on mine for 10 weeks now, though they promised 4-8. |
