| When Ever I am listening to the stereo either CDs or Radio I will occasionaly hear this odd pulsing noise over the speakers. It almost sounds like a digitized morse code. any Ideas? |

| It's your cell phone. Try turning it off and see if it stops. |

:4: Agree. Most likely it is cell phone interference. |

| You gotta wonder, if the transmitter on a cell phone is strong enough to induce a voltage in your speaker system 4 feet away, what does it do when you place it next to your skull to talk. Hmmmmm...... |

Hmmm...I get the same sound, almost like a pulsating buzz, after my audio system has been on for a while. I always have my cell phone on, so I guess that must be the issue?
I am scheduled to have my dealer check it out this week, and will likely go forward with it just to get the issue on record.
They said that they had never heard of a like problem when I scheduled the service visit. |

I need my phone for work 24/7, and find that the Bluetooth feature in the X is very convenient. Although the I had the noise before the Bluetooth phone, so at least that isn't the issue.
I suspect a majority of X owners drive their with cell phones on, and wonder why this problem doesn't appear to be more widespread??? |

| I believe this problem is more rampant with GSM/GPRS phones. Cingulair uses this technology. I'm not sure who else does. I know Verizon is CDMA and that doesn't cause any interference. |

We have been having this problem occur on our 2003 TL and the dealer had no clue what was causing it.
To find out it is our cell phones that are causing that noise is hilarious.
Been a member less than a week and already have learned soooo much.
Thanks. |

| Well...it was the cell phone for sure. I had the same problem in the loaner TSX that I used while my MDX was in for service. |

| It is kinda weird because the ipod stereo in my room makes the same noise that the MDX does with my cell phone is on. I have a stupid BMW x3 3.0 also, and that does not make the noise. Does it depend who makes the car weather it makes that annoying noise or not?? jw. thanks! |
