I got a quote of $35995 for '06 MDX Touring with Nav from a dealer in San Diego area. Not sure if it includes destination fees.
Is this a reasonable deal ? Does anyone know of better deal in southern cali ?

| Last year we purchased our MDX from Power Acura in Torrance. We found that the San Diego dealers hardly negotiated and were unwilling to meet or even come close to the price we got at Power. We started our negotiations through email with Jerry. Go to the website and email him for a quote. It was by far the best car deal I have ever done. No surprises, just an awesome deal. Worth the hour drive from san diego. Be sure to do this over email. People that walk in will not get the same deal. You need to start negotiations by email with a fleet or internet manager. I paid about $2800 below invoice! I think there was a $1500 incentive at the time too. The San Diego dealers wouldn't even give us the entire incentive! Good luck! |

You have a good deal there. If you really want to squirm for a little more, their net cost is 35316.18, so you have a liuttle over $500 wirth of profit to play with...how much you play is up to you and how much every little penny is worth is also up to you.
That net cost also does not reflect any salesperson commissions that will affect cost as well...but in that area, you should be able to get a little more if you really try.
DO NOT PAY FOR DESTINATION. It has to be included in their price quotes in California by law and they can not pass it on to you as a fee. |
