| I am about to take delivery of my new 2006 MDX Touring with NAV. :) I want to get an interface for my Ipod to the head unit, but have not heard any good things about the Acura MusicLink. What do people use to connect their Ipod? I would love some suggestions and advice. Thanks. |

If you are getting RES you will have an auxilary input. If not most people have used Blitzsafe or PIE Aux Interfaces. A search for any of these will yield you more information than you'll ever need:

| USASpec PA11-HON and PA11-HON2 interface adapters have been used by several people (including myself) as well. |

I used the Aux port on my RES with a Griffin remote until MusicLink came out. The integration of the ML with the car is awesome. The interface, on the other hand, sucks dirt. Let me put this disclaimer out though - no other iPod link on any other car is any better than this one. The auto manuf. are doing a ****ty job of connecting.
Having said that, the best UI for controlling the iPod has to be Harman Kardon's Drive+Play but I'm not a fan of the connection options to the head unit. |
