Hello,
I just purchased a brand new 2006 Acura MDX (Touring/Navigation package) for a base price of $36399! There was an inflated cost for window tinting at $199 and the installation of a towing package at $1580, but this still kept the cost way below anything that I could find elsewhere. This cost is even below the factory invoice with the hold-back and factory-dealer incentive combined ($37207)! After everything was said and signed, I had to ask the sales representative how they were making money on the deal. The answer was that they weren’t and they were in a bind to clear out their fleet of over one hundred or so 2006 MDX’s as soon as possible. All of this and 2.9% financing for 36 months. Great deal!
Of course, I do realize that the dealer made money off of me somehow, but it was a fair and straight forward deal. So, if you are interested, check out Bell Acura in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

No my friend...at that price, they really are NOT making any money. Only way they are going to make money on you as a customer is if you use them for service.

I got my 06 mdx w/Touring/NAV/RES below $500 from invoice price. But, I got my all my accessories included with final negotiated price except the fake HID look for a 60mths 4.9% financing. I was being jiff off by the finance dept, found something fishy by double sales tax. Got my eyes fix like a hawk. At the end, they told me they lost $$$ because of the accessories, but they say I was a nice person.

| I too bought my car at Bell Acura in Phoenix. I got the same model with the Nav. The price I got included the tint, edge guards and Wheel locks. I ended up paying 36,699 total. Sounds pretty similar to your deal. Great experience with the purchase except after the sale when they wanted to have me buy all the extra stuff. i had to really work at sticking to my guns on that and made it out without buying anything else. Good to know we both got a similar deal. |
