Trying to decide whether to order the side steps or runing boards at the special price even though I'm a few months away from MDX delivery...our soon-to-be replaced Explorer has running boards that the kids use to climb in & out & I'm not sure if they'll need them on the MDX as well.
Could someone please measure the distance from the ground to the floor of the MDX (i.e., how high is the step-up to get in)? Many thanks.
Also, is there any reason to believe that the current SS/RB's won't fit the 2002 MDX? |

The running boards are around 10 3/4 inches off the ground.
The step without running boards is about 19 inches. My measurements are pretty close. Hope this helps.
