This is going to sound wierd. Whenever I start the X the passenger side window rolls down a 1/4 " . Its driving me crazy I thought I was doing it when I got in the car. I'm convinced that its the car.

Second wierd thing the security light , it will flash even after I've started the car and and driving down the street. It will stop if I stop and start the car agian, only does it every 3-5th time I start the car. Help

You are correct, that does sound weird, especially the window rolling down. Cannot offer any comments. Just had to agree!!

Does the starter seem weak? You probably have a dead cell in the battery. I've seen this before and it's from the multiplex control unit not getting a full 12 volts. As soon as the battery is replaced, the problem goes away.

Have a battery test done and you'll know for sure if the battery needs to go.

That totally sounds correct, since it has been a little slow to start lately. Thanks Supertech

Warranty replacement or did you buy an aftermarket? If so, what brand/type did you get?

I didn't think about the warranty, I just bought the Autolite from Kragen's because it died next to the Kragen's.

You think I could ask for reimbursment?

No but maybe Kragen would take it back? Bottom line is though many of us have had trouble with the OEM batteries, many have not. I personally decided to replace mine with an aftermarket because of the poor performance I had plus the multitude of comments I read here and elsewhere. Do a search, you'll see what I mean.

Not worth it, $85 and I'm done with it. No worries
