Anyone have problems with their radio? I have an 2001 MDX and since day one, there has been static, or no reception, esp. on AM. It's been to the dealer over 5 times over the past 5 years, and no satisfaction! The radio assembly has been changed, antenna cleaned, etc. Anyone else? Just picked the car up this morning, and, yep, same problem, not 1/2 later...
Called dealer back and Acura "Care": they don't! |

| Known problem at least with the 01's and 02's. Esp AM radio reception absolutely sucks. |

Thanks, Maik. I didn't know if I was fighting an uphill battle....maybe, I'll just give up with this issue. Seems to me, if you spend a lot of money on a 'quality" vehicle, you should expect quality (and not condescending service.) |

Good luck with that! I love the MDX, but for the HORRIBLE service from 2 area dealers, I'll never buy another Acura again. Even the 1st sales person I dealt with was bad. Told me to come back in a few months when they had some on the lot - WHAT?! |

| Have you thought about getting an FM signal booster? You can get them on ebay for about $15. Not sure if there is a solution for AM. You are right though, the reception on my '01 sucks. My Sirius comes in great though:D |

| Hi, I'm in NJ, too.... It's really the AM that stinks (and I like talk radio)... FM is on and off bad. Thanks for the reply. |

| Ebay auction # 330012783322. This says it works for AM and FM. For $13 it's worth a try. If you do it, let me know how it goes. That way it's your $13. |

Don't think that will work. Acura uses a different antenna connector than that. |
