| I just recently added HID to my '02 MDX and my friend had told me I should change the headlight housing to the newer mdx's projectors, what would be the benifit and would it be an easy change? Thanks for any info anyone can provide. |

I upgraded mine, and subjectively, I seem to see a more focused beam. The upgrade involves removing and reinstalling the bumper - which at first sounded like a daunting task for a non-mechanically inclined person like me but actually went OK. There's a good how-to on removing the bumper but I'm too lazy to search for it right now.
As far as the cost, if you buy from junkyards and/or ebay, it won't cost more than $200 for the pair of housings.
BUT, if you already have the 9006 HIDs, you will either make/buy your own harness AND modify the housing to accomodate the old bulbs OR just buy H11 HIDs. |
