I'm going to take a look at an 06 MDX tomorrow!!! The salesman told me he could sell a silver exterior with ebony interior (they have too many silver MDX in stock) for $36,399+tax+tag+fees. What do u guys think about this deal? Is that a reasonable price? Can I get him to go down to 36,000 flat (will that be too much of a bargain)? I live in DC Metro area.
And well, here's my question related to the subject. What are the fees that a dealer can add when they calculate the final out the door price? I've read somewhere that administrative fee is the fee that they add to inflate the price. what fees are the real fees that a carbuyer has to pay for? |

Everything in life is negotiable except death, taxes, and tag! Real fees don't exist. It's all about bottom line profit. They can call anything a fee. It's just up to you to know what your willing to walk out the door paying. If they don't want to deal, move along. Be sure and get your total out the door price in writing before agreeing to anything. |

There are two fees you should watch for-
Destination and Doc.
Destination they CAN"T charge you.
Doc they can, and it is different in every state. In Calif it is $45 and EVERYONE charges it no matter what.
In AZ, it is right around $500....and some do and some don't..but most do. The Doc fee is the one that is negotiable in most states. |
