Hello! Ii'm having problems with my brakes. I hear a loud click noise evertime I make a complete stop. It's more noticeable when going really slow like 5 to 10 mph. I step on my brakes and then when I stop, I hear a low sounding click kinda noise...almost like a pop sound. I notice it in my rear right wheel.
Also, when park up a hill, and set the parking parks and then let go of the brakes, the car would make a loud horrible grinding noise and rolls back a little at the same time. Feels like the e-brake won't hold the car up the hill. It just makes a loud grinding noise and then the car would roll back a little and lock into place. And, one again, the noise sounds like it's coming more from the rear right wheel.
Lastly, when I come to a complete stop and then immediately release the brakes a little, I hear again a grinding noise. It more noticeable when I park the car and make a right turn when I don't come to a complete stop. Sounds like the noise that you hear after getting a car wash and your brakes are dry or something. Just a little grinding noise. If I hold the brakes down at a certain point, you can hear it grinding as the car trys to roll forward.
I don't know what's wrong with my car, it has the worse brake noises ever. The thing is, it brakes really well and the rotors aren't warped or anything. I know it's my brakes, but it most be the mechanical part and not the pads. Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be? I'm taking it in soon, but I just want to hear some input. BTW, I have an 02 with 53k miles. Thank you in advance. |

sounds like you need a 4 wheel brake service, make sure they use M77 on the pads too
while the servie is going on they will check all calipers, and sliders, and pad thickness, and report back if you need additional work |
