What does everyone think about the Helios HID Kit product? I am thinking of purchasing this kit, would cost me between $299-$349.

Since everyone has its own preference in regards to color temperature, what name brand is most acceptable other then Helios?

A company called Xtra Xenon claims to make the factory light kits for most of the auto manufacturers.

Google them to find retailers.

Better yet! Let's be Retailers and sell them on the Internet. Her's a link to a Chinese supplier who will sell the whole kit (Bulbs, Ballasts and wiring) for $96 each. If you don't like the bulbs you can always replace them with aftermarket like PIAA.

Does PIAA (or anyone) make an HID bulb that would fit this kit?? Most kits have proprietary fittings. That's why I would just go with Philips ballasts , a relay and some rebased 9006 or H11 D2S bulbs. OEM that can be replaced with stock items. YMMV.

Heck, these could be the same kits Silverado was talking about.

I don't see individual bulbs that show ends in those links. I see bulbs but that is only half the story. The ends they use will determine whether or not they will fit any kit. You do realize that OEM HID bulbs (D2S and D2R) are not usually a direct replacement for "kit" bulbs, right?

The MDX replacements you link to are halogen bulbs.

Oh, I agree D2S and D2R don't all fit. The point was; what a joke the whole industry is.

Let's pool our resource's and go over-seas http://www.fuzing.com/vli/001624e41...ersion_kit_9005
