I knew it...the Hondaphiles who've been giddy at the thought of a factory turboed motor didn't waste any time putting one on a dyno. It's only a matter of time before the tuners start fiddling around with boost control and blow one of these motors up.

What's shocking is that a long block (engine block, pistons, crank, head, valves, cams, etc) comes out to maybe around $2k retail price across the parts counter. But the turbocharger assembly, which is the only way they come btw so even if you just need a wastegate you still have to buy the whole thing...is over $4k.
