My first full year of paying for XM has expired. I was able to lock in for the first full year at a good rate after reading the threads here (at the current time).
The mailings I have received have only stated the price of $12.95 per month, unless you lock in for two years at $11.33 or three or more years at $9.99 per month.
This is much higher than the promotional rate they were offering when my initial trial period expired a year ago. Has anyone received a better renewal rate than those I quoted above?
I don't necessarily want to pay that much, especially now that XM is playing commericals - on a supposedly "COMMERCIAL FREE" subscription.
Any information would be greatly appreciated,

There is another very long thread about the XM renewal rate. It used to be $60 per year, and is now $77. You sometimes have to furnish a dummy promo code (in that thread), but most recently you just have to ask.
Check out that thread. |

I had gotten the (approx.)$75 one year renewal on my Honda Accord, and just called to get it again. Was told I could get (approx.) $38 for six months. By the way, at first they said no, but I told them it was a car I kept in florida half the year and I'd never pay full price! |

I contacted them for my renewal but not offer not discounts. Sorry to see you go but that's the new price.
Also they inform me that as per the board of directors? They vote OK for commercials on 4 stations which include my favor one SUNNY.
Soon XM radio will be with commercials and we are paying for it. :3: |
