Hi,
I recently purchased a 2006 MDX. These days while driving I hear a clicking noise from the glove box compartment, like a loose screw. The noise seems to come from the right side A/C vent.
I don't hear the noise when I drive with the glove box open. I took it to the dealer & the damper for the glove box was replaced.
Inspite of all the dealer's efforts, the noise is still present. Let me know if anyone has been through this & if anyone has a solution to this.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Rgds,

| I had the same problem in my new 06. As we all know, the MDX is full of rattles, one of its not so many down-points. Dealer was unable to fix mine. When I sit in the pass seat and push in on the glove-box, the noise stops. No permanent fix yet. good luck. |

| I had this noise too and it drove me crazy...mine turned out to be the wire harness that run behind the glove box rubbing. Due to some suggestions from this forum, I stuffed some foam padding up in-between the harness and the back of the glove box and never heard the noise again! I just reached up behind the glove box to install some of the foam padding. Good luck... |
