I may be going crazy (assuming that I'm not already there), but I thought I recalled the MDX having a feature by which the car radio stays on after you cut off the ignition, until you open the car door. It did NOT do this when I cut off the ignition this morning. I've had Road Hog for 3 weeks now, and I THOUGHT it had that feature during the first week. I could be mistaken because I had rented a Pontiac Grand Am about 4 weeks ago, and it could be that the GA had this feature.
Am I right on, or going nuts? If I'm right, how do I enable/disable?
Thanks,

I believe you can open or close the windows until you open the door. The radio will work in the Acc. position, of course.
I think there was a thread about this sometime ago saying this was a problem. You might want to try a search. |

| Hmmm...you might be confusing that with the feature which allows the sunroof to be operated for 10 minutes? after you turn off the MDX. I remember reading about that in the owner's manual. I don't think my radio has ever stayed on in the 2 days I've had my MDX and I don't recall seeing anything in the owner's manual about that (although I haven't studied it closely yet). My '97 Z28 had that feature like your Pontiac, so maybe it's just a GM thing? |

GatorGreg, MDXNole, jliveMDX,
Thanks for the quick replies. I checked my handy-dandy PDF version of my MDX manual that I keep with me all the time. I did not read anything about the "radio-stay-on" feature that I mentioned. I did see that the moonroof can be shut off for up to 10 minutes after the ignition is shut off.
I like this feature, and I'm hoping that the MDX will get it later on.
