Hi,
This is a strange problem - lately my NAV does not default to Direct Route. Rather, it defaults to Maximize Freeways. A couple times my wife did not realize this and ended up taking a longer route than necessary. In the past it used to default to Direct. Anyone else have this problem or no how to resolve it?

From my 06 MDX manual, Navi uses the routing method that was last used. I have had this happen to me one, but then I remember that I had set it to "Maximize Freeways" in the past with one of the routes and it remained there.
Using the "direct route" next time, will make it stick to using direct route until changed again.
Not sure if this is also what you are facing or if 06 works same as 03. But I hope it helps. |
