I was shopping for a new MDX since the first of August, but could not get the deal I wanted. I tried selling my '01 Touring w/72,000 myself, but had no luck. I test drove a TL at the beginning of the month too...BIG mistake!
I waited until the end of the month and ended up trading my '01 NBP for an '06 NBP Touring/Nav. I really did not go in for the NAV (I went in for a Sage Touring), but when I saw the NBP w/saddle interior, I just had to have it. I am picking it up on Monday.
I also ended up trading my wife's '05 Odyssey for an '06 TL. I like my MDX so much, I really wanted another one, but I really liked the TL too, so I compromised! It did not hurt that my wife loves the TL.
I must be nuts to buy two new cars at the same time, but I could not pass up the 2.9% financing and the year end incentives. |

A friend of mine just did the same thing. She had an '01 base & just picked up an '06 LOADED NAVI & RES in silver. I didnt know these suckers were so $$$ new. With the '07 coming out soon, I may look into getting an '05 CPO with NAVI & RES(hey I always get odd number model years and I dont do NEW in cars). New styles make the older version a bit more reasonable:2: |

As you can see I now have 2 MDXs. I was considering a new TL, but when I got into it and compared it to my 02 TL, not to mention my 04 MDX, it felt very cramped. I also felt my drivers license would be in peril, (man that thing is fast). BTW, in Canada we got 1.8% financing. |
