Hello all,
I've recently purchased an '04 MDX Touring (no NAV, no RES) and am having a wind noise problem. I'm attaching pictures which show my problem. Basically the black plastic piece which holds the mirror on is coming away from the door. I would take it in to an Acura dealer asap but the nearest one is 240 miles away. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try and fix it myself? I've seen threads on how to remove the mirror but would that help me? Should this piece just snap back on? (It doesn't seem like it wants to.) Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| I seem to have fixed the problem! I found out on this website how to remove the front tweeters. Once I did this I found out that the 3 screws holding the mirror on were loose. Once these were tightened, it pulled the black plastic piece (and mirror) tight against the door. ACURAMDX.ORG has some invaluable information! Thanks! |
