I went to order an air filter for the cabin online and saw two different filters? Are their two separate cabin filters and where are they located.

Thanks

Rmoe,

There is one A/C Pollen Filter aka Cabin Air Filter. It is located in the glove box. You can buy one from hondacuraworld.com. Here's a good thread on "pollen filter replacement how to".

Thanks for the link Excalibur! Just purchased mine and can't wait to get it in. My MDX has 71K miles and I don't think its EVER been changed!

Silver01MDX,

You're welcome. At 71,000 miles, your cabin air filter is way over due for a change. Let us know how the old one looks when you replace it.

The 07 has a pull out tray. You let the glove box down, pull out the tray, lift out the filter, and drop in in a new one.

That is like my 05 Ody- a breeze. My 04 MDX was a real PITA, after complete removal of the glove box a plastic cross bar has to be cut on the first change. I got mine with 73K and it was absolutely filthy- beyond filthy. I cleaned the resepticle out with some bleach water with a rag using a long skinny rod. This is the most neglected service on any car other than checking tire pressures monthly.
