I have searched but havent seen this topic addressed.

My Current vehicle is a 2004 touring with navigation.

I have a factory RES that i want install. I have the factory screen, radio, and the dvd player. I have a few questions and am hoping someone can answer.

- does the RES radio just plug into my radio harness?
- is the car pre wired for RES? ie is there a harness already in the roof?
- is there a harness already in place behind the dask to plug the player in?
- Is there a bracket to mount the video screen already in the roof?

Lastly....is there any information in any manual that would help me get this installed?

Sorry if this has already been asked. If it has which thread would it be in?

Thanks.

A helms manual would give you the information.

Thank you for the reply....I see there are multiple manuals listed any idea which one i would need?

Also surprised that no one on this site has attempted this type of install....

Thanks

I've answered this several times already. You'll still need the wire harness since it's a different one. And replacing that is quite an ordeal. Actually it's a huge one.

I'd spare yourself the trouble and sell what you have on eBay and just get an aftermarket setup.
