Finally picked up "our" (truthfully, it's my wife's) SS MDX (Canadian model) today - ordered mid-April, built July 19th. Accessories: Sport bars, mudflaps, rear deflector and the dealer threw in the wheel locks. Very, very pleased with the dealer - Absolutely no BS, no pressure, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the paid accessories were all installed for under list.
Took it out for a run tonight. Getting to the highway, kept hearing this annoying knocking sound every time I went over a bump. With all the stuff I've been reading about for the past 2 or 3 months, I was thinking: SH*T!! Turned out to be the key fob knocking against the steering column! So touch fake wood, no real problems so far. I even thought the stereo sounded pretty good and the wind noise at 70 - 80 was not as bad as I expected... (maybe my ears are shot!)
We're taking it on a trip to the cottage this weekend, so I'll be able to give it a better shake down. Will be lining everything with towels (my 3 year old gets car sick easily), and will report back..... |
