Thanks for the info. I have owned numerous cars over the years and never have I had a dealer or car maker tell me that it is very easy to get debris, leaves, etc. in a fan motor. What is so darn unique about the MDX? Methinks that they tell you they found debris in there to avoid having to pay under any kind of warranty (debris in it would make it a user maintenance issue not covered by warranty).
I'm taking it back this week and will post the results of the 2nd diagnostic. I'm going to push for a replacement (part of my extended warranty), as I agree with you that it probably has bad bushing/bearing or the like that is making it out of balance and overworking itself.
