Hi,
I am at my Acura dealer right now. I get free oil change. And I just had my tires balanced due to a flat tire. I was told they can do the 15k service without the oil change and tire rotation and balance for $189. Is that a fair price?

If you are there I would just go ahead and get it done.The price
is inline with what you would pay at a dealer.I have
my MDX serviced at a local shop that only works on
Acuras and Hondas and pay significantly(about 1/2)less
than what my dealer charges. |

15000 mile service, I paid about 220 including Tire rotation,VTM., oil change and other recommended services.
I also had the vibration of subwoofer (warranty work) done at the same time. |

Does anyone else have estimates or costs from Acura on the 15k service?
I called a couple of local (Seattle, WA) dealers - one quoted me $430 for the Acura 15k service, the other quoted me $296 for the service.
They both quoted the same services included from the Acura Maintenance recommendations.
Are both of these high, is $296 'reasonable'?
I was very surprised by the difference - waiting for a call back from 2 other dealers to compare costs.

I just had my 15K done at Honda of Bellevue (near Factoria Mall) at $255 + tax. I also had quote of $240 (Acura of Seattle) and $296 (Acura of Bellevue). I went with Honda because they included transmission flush and air filter which were not even mentioned by the two Acura dealers. Let me know if you get the same
information. |

It's amazing how the pricing varies ...
Lynnwood - $430
Seattle - $240
Bellevue - $296 (originally quote $196)
I can't remember where Fife was, somewhere between Seattle and Lynnwood.
While I want to make sure I am getting all the services (not just skipping one or two because they don't think it's needed) I want to get a fair price on it too. |
