I see Tim was offering 5k off MSRP last month. Is this still being offered this month? I've purchased locally today and just found out about acuramdx.org tonight.

Trying to find out if 5k MSRP is something I should have expected to see from a local dealer in FL too. I have an 06 Touring with NAV/RES, so that would mean mean a 39,200 sale price on a new car.

Mine is an CPO 06 Touring w/NAV and RES, Wheel Locks, and the accessory cargo liner and mats (the thick black rubber ones). Car had 12k miles on it. No damage on the exterior, and 2 tiny spots on the headliner inside and one on the rear carpet, which I'm sure I can get out easily.

Price was $36,994

Assuming I could get 5k off MSRP from a local dealer (no clue), I only saved about 2k. If I couldn't get that locally, it would have been around 1k to closed ship a car from Tim (only way I'd ship is closed).

The extra coverage from the CPO is also worth something overall in the price. I thought it was a pretty good deal earleir today, but right now not as much. However, it still seems like it was decent.

You don't say whether your price includes all fees and taxes. If it doesn't then you probably should read this thread.

EDIT: Sorry, that one, it appears, did not have RES.

My prices of 36,994 is w/o taxes/fees/etc. That was just the car.

The guy who started that other thread paid 36,600 but had no RES.

It looks like 37,200-37,500 might be the absolute best on an 06 NAV and RES. No one specifies if that's with fees, but I'm thinking that price is w/o fees and tax. I'd be absolutely floored if people are getting them for that price WITH tax. Considering tax adds at least 2k, which would mean a 35k sale price, which is 10k under MSRP.

If I could get that 37,200-37,500 price locally, that doesn't make my price seem good, since it's used, but I'm looking at the fact that it used with 12k miles having an effect on the price, but since it's CPO'd, that helps negate some of it.

Too late now anyway right? I'm still fairly pleased with the deal, but it's always good to compare. Given the lack of dealers, and seeing how busy with actual sales that this one was on a Sunday, I don't think I would have seen the crazy kind of deals others have.

Generally people are getting tissue (dealer invoice) less the rebate of $2,500.

On Friday I signed a lease for an '06, my price was 31,134: Invoice of $34,129, less $2,500 rebate. Then dealer gave me $495 of his holdback.

Final cost, $31, 134 which is $6,661 of of MSRP.

On a touring you should be able to do this or better.

How do some people get some holdback money? Must be nice! :2:

Totally dependant on the dealer when it comes to Holdback. Some dealers will just not go into holdback for any reason. Others will dive all the way down in to holdback to net net cost to sell a car.
