I am still kicking myself. What are my options? Tim can I purchase just that piece and replace it? How good would it look it I had it repainted? Will the paint match?

Ouch! Sorry to see that.
It looks like you could just replace the bottom peice of your fender flare and you would be ok. Hopefully Tim can respond to you if he can sell that piece individually. |

OUCH!!
I know that one of these days my wife is going to pull out of the garage and get a little too close to the side and do exactly the same thing.
So far all is well. I think checking with Myke977 is a great idea. I did notice that he had 3 fender flares.
Let us know what you end up doing to fix it. |

You might be able to try out one of those touch up service centers. This was discussed recently, with some fairly impressive photos (see attached thread). I recently backed my MDX into one of my other vehicles and had some nasty looking scratches on my rear bumper which had gone clear through to the plastic. Unlike you however, I was not able to post photos of my wounds- it would be like re-living the whole thing :mad:. I took it to a touch up shop and they were able to just fix the affected area. Results were very impressive. Maybe you could get an estimate from such a shop in your area.

As everyone else says "ouch" :rolleyes:. That word just fits perfect. That scratch just looks like it hurt. I'm sure everything will work out fine. Let us know how everything goes and how it got fixed.
