| I am looking to buy a 2006 Touring with NAV in northern cal. Has the $2500 rebate expired? I am getting a quote of $35,800 plus tax and Lic, without any accessories. Is this an aggressive price? It seems the dealers make a killing on the accessories (running boards, back up sensors, moulding, ipod link, mats). Does it make sense to buy online and have dealer install? |

1. Get a quote from another dealer. and you'll know how aggressive the quote is.
2. Dealers often charge more for accessories at the time of new sale then their service department would. Check the parts prices at hondaacuraworld.com. running boards are about 460, back up sensors are $550 or so, molding is about $180, and rubber mats you install yourself for about $100. You can do molding yourself, running boards need some wrenchs and a tiny bit of handyman skills. A lot of people buy them from Tim at the above site, and install them themselves. |
