Hi guys, has anyone ever come across a prog thermostat that can be set/read down to decimal degrees ? Like 72.5° .
I am also looking for something that has automatic heat/cool switch. I'd set it to 72.5° and it will turn the heat or a/c whichever is applicable (instead of the ubiquitous Heat-Off-Cool manual switch). |

Thanks!
but as I think thru this more I feel that the decimal precision would also mean that the furnace or a/c would keep kicking in more frequently to maintain the temperature down to that precision. Probably that's why most thermmostats have a ±1° swing.
But having that automatic climate control would be cool! (or hot depending on how you look at it  ) |

Look at page 17 in that PDF link (ntsupply) Xstatic gave you. Differential settings will take care of your cycling concerns. |
