Can you bring it back to the US for service? Cause you will have no warranty in Canada on a US purchased MDX. I imagine there will be no difference in price on a 2007 at most dealerships because they will sell at invoice for a while.
*Edit - that should read MSRP, not invoice* |

Yes, would have to bring it back. However, the odds of anything major going wrong during th ewarranty in a new, gentlyused Acura are negligible compared to the $12000 USD savings buying an hour south of here.
What's the dealer holdback on one of these....2.5% ?
Maybe I'll have to wait six months to get a smoking deal...can live with that. If anyone knows of dealerships willing to Deal, Ohio, New York, Pennsylavania, Michigan, please share......Thanks!! |

I believe it's 3%. If you can wait a few months, that would be best - they'll be at invoice in no time........... |

Thanks very much JL_SS, I appreciate your response.
3% is on mSRP, so they are still making $1300 if they sell at invoice.
I can easily wait a few months, but if I can find one in November, I don't mind spending a small amount more, if that's a real possibility.
Honda has a habit of limiting supply early when introducing a model, to drive up demand and artificially maintain prices over the short term. Let's see...maybe Santa will be good. |
