I picked up my car almost exactly one month ago (July 3rd). A car cut off the car two up from me. The jerk was in the left turn lane of a two-lane street and decided he wanted to go into the parking lot on the right. The car he cut off swerved and had no impact. The car in front of me jammed on the brakes and swerved to the right. I jammed on mine and won't you know it also turned to the right. Her attempt to stop was arrested by the curb - mine was by her backside.
Turns out (luckily?) that the only damage I have is the nose - it is dented in and the gray skirt? broke off some of its front mounts. BTW, did you know the nose is molded plastic and I guess serves as the bumper?
Does anyone know the price of these two components? How much would it cost to repair at the dealer? Anyone recommend trying to order the parts and do a self repair/replace? Advice?
One good thing is for the people who saw my earlier post about the VTM-4 light coming on after 100+ miles, went off on my trip to the dealer, and dealer not finding anything wrong... well, the VTM-4 light is on now (after crash). Hopefully it'll stay on on my trip to the dealer tomorrow.:( |

| Definately get that checked out. You can have more damage under the facia (more than it appears from the surface). |
