Does anyone know if my 03 MDX hitch will fit an 07 Pilot? It looks the same, but has anyone done it? Are there any differences in MDX hitches over the years?
How about transferring my two coolers to the 07 Pilot?
Thanks,

ICBW, but I think the 07 PILOT DOES need coolers, 07 MDX does not... |

I took this from the MDX Acura web site
With a towing capacity of 5000 pounds, the 2007 MDX can tow boat and/or camper trailers with equal confidence. Standard towing equipment includes a high-capacity radiator with twin 160-watt fans, an automatic transmission fluid cooler, a heavy-duty power-steering cooler and pre-wiring for an electric brake controller. The transmission was designed with towing in mind with lower ratios for improved pulling power and acceleration, upgraded shafts, gears, bearings and clutches. A Towing Package is available as a dealer-installed accessory and includes a hitch, receiver, ball and wiring harness.
Also front the same site
The Trailer Stability Assist system consists of special algorithms programmed into the standard Cooperative Vehicle Stability Assist® (VSA®) system. Trailer Stability Assist interprets oscillation, or wag, in the vehicle/trailer combination while driving, which may occur under certain speed and road conditions or if the trailer is not loaded correctly. After sensing oscillations of the vehicle and trailer system, the system uses a combination of torque reduction and individual braking to stabilize the vehicle. |
