I did a search on this but didn't find an answer, so here goes
When you use aftermarket wheels, do you HAVE to put Tire Pressure Sensors in those?
Woud you use the existing ones and transfer them to the new wheels or do you have to buy new ones?
What would happen if you didn't put them in at all?

Tire pressure sensors are not a mandatory item. If you do not install them the only thing that you lose is the information provided by the sensors.

Corect me if I am wrong.If you don't install the TPS sensor.Wouldn't all of the four tire on the MDX gauge light up???
I am assuming this will happen due the wheel and the MDX sensor needs to communicate.. |

yep, and some people even learn to live with it :) i don't think it will hurt anything, u just wont be getting every feature u paid for |

Starting with the 2008 model year they will be mandatory on every new passenger vehicle sold. |

OK, so those of you with MDX's with the TPS and winter tires, what do you do?
Do you have a dedicated set of wheels with/without TPS installed, or swap tires on/off existing wheels? |
