Hey guys, just wanted to tell you that i got to take out the 07 MDX today. My dealer in South Florida actually got 2 in last night aswell as 1 TL Type S, and when i got there this morning for my oil change, there was just 1 left. Yup, they sold the 1st one yesterday, and what sucks is that it was the one with the tech package, so the one i drove was a plain one.
Major impovement in power, tiptronic is nice, very tight driving. Radio wasnt that great in the basic, its only 240, although i think it was still louder then my 03, buy cant wait to hear the 400+ out of the tech pak. I also clariffied the fact that it doesnt come with roofrack, but it is a option. I looked at the RDX and it had one on it as a option, and it was like 800 buks, so figure a grand for the MDX, aswell as another grand for side steps. THose 2 features made the MDX my choice 3and half years ago, but at 45k plus its going to be tough to fit that in my new houses garage.
Overall, it is deffinately a nice suv, much nicer then the current, but i think the options and the higher sticker price is going to be a kick is the arsss for someof us. Ill be at the dealership in 5 months when my 03s 4 year lease is up, but chanes are the new 07 mdx is priced out of my league. Its a shame, but the top of the line, well minus the navi RDX was 38, so navi means 40. Thats what i got my MDX for. Thats a shame.
