I thought I would share back with the group since you all were so helpful for me getting my 06 MDX tour nav w dvd
The finance manager at my dealership here in missouri said at signing that they called acura financing and could offer a 4.9% financing vs the 6.5% quoted at deal time.
I said great whats the catch, he said none, then proceeded to tell me that they had negotaited through Honda to get me a 7 year 100000 mile warranty at no cost:2:
whats the catch i asked, nothing he said, but then when we were going through the final financing I saw that they were trying to charge me antoher 1000 dollars. When I pressed him on it, he called in his manager and said there were errors and I said pull it off if I have to pay for the extra warrntly.
He had to honour the 4.9 for 60 months.
My belief they had the better rate and tried to cover off the finance charges via charging me a extended warrnty cost |

This finance manager phone me back 10 days after my purchase, guess what, there is some special on and you can get financing as low as 2.9 on 2006 models. He said they found out after they submitted my paperwork to Honda.
This is dependant on term. I tightend up my term and fell from 4.9 to 3.9%. You can get 2.9 if you are under 35 months. Hope this helps somebody save some cash. Not bad for me as I started with a 8.25% financing when I first walked into the dealership. |

When did you get a call? Edmunds now lists $3000 incentive on 2006 MDX but no special financing. Is this area specific? Does anyone else know anything about these special finance rates? |
